Grand opening Amande Restaurant

An entirely new restaurant Amande opened on 1 April – the restaurant focuses on serving meals from South Moravia with a touch of France. This step was confirmed by grand opening on 24 May 2016.

Our aim now will be to create a pleasant environment with top gastronomy for any occasion together with our excellent chef, Vilem Harasta, and the team of Amande.

As our hotel’s director, Mr Lubos Dolezal, said: “The main advantage of our newly opened restaurant will be combination of traditional ingredients from South Moravia, prepared according to contemporary trends of French cuisine, and traditional Moravian meals accompanied by original side dishes in French style. The guests can, of course, look forward to perfect service and excellent South Moravian and French wines.”

And why Amande? The name Amande (almonds in French) practically suggested itself – there are the largest almond orchards in Central Europe in Hustopece, and almonds are often used also in meals, for example, our sweet speciality in our new menu is an Almond Cake by Amande. Our restaurant can seat up to 80 people and is, of course, equipped with air conditioning; in summer months it is possible to enjoy romantic seating on our terrace under a pergola, which increases the total capacity by 60 seats.
