Popularity of South Moravia has increased in the field of congress tourism

The popularity of South Moravia as a congress destination has increased. In 2015, congress tourism has achieved the best figures in recent years. Popularity of South Moravia is also confirmed by the Czech Statistical Office, which collects data from collective accommodation establishments in Czech Republic.

In the last year (2015) was organized 2,107 events, which hosted 200,427 participants. Compared to 2014, the number of events has increased by enormous 45% and the number of participants by 19%.

South Moravia is an attractive destination for business tourism. The organisers of congresses, team-building exercises and other events value wide range of accommodation and congress facilities, presence of natural and cultural monuments, as well as facilities for sports and wine connoisseurs.
