Getting to Airport Brno - Tuřany
The airport is located nearby the D1 Brno - Olomouc highway, still in the territory of the city of Brno. There is an exit to Slatina on the 201th km from Prague, and the turning to the airport is visibly marked. It is 2 km from the exit to the airport.
It is very easy to get to the Brno airport from the city centre during the whole day as well as at night. Bus line no. 76 to the airport leaves from the Central station exactly every half an hour during the day from 05:30 to 22:30. At night, from 23:00 to 05:00, the airport is served by night line no. 89 in intervals of 30 to 60 minutes.
Line no. 76 leaves from the Central Station and moves on to the bus station Zvonařka (Zvonařka stop at the tram terminus) and then goes directly to the Brno Airport where it terminates. Line no. 89 doesn´t not serve the bus station, it is therefore necessary to get in at the Central station.
Travel time takes 20 minutes in both cases. Two-zone tickets are required for the journey. Tickets can be purchased in a vending machine in the arrivals terminal building or in a newspaper and magazine shop (Airport Shop).
There is the CITY TAXI car park in front of the terminal. It takes 20 min to get to the city centre. The fare to the city centre costs around 300 Kč.
Brno is by D1 and D2 highway and I/43 route connected to important metropolises - Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Poznan, Berlin and others. Within a radius of 200 km from Brno there are other European capitals with international airport: Prague, Vienna and Bratislava.
Parking is only allowed in designated areas or large parking houses and it is usually paid.
Located on the rail corridors, the city is provided with quality transportation services by Eurocity, Intercity, Ex and R class trains.
South Moravian Integrated Transportation System enables regular bus and train connection between Brno and the region. The system connects to tram, bus and trolleybus lines of the City of Brno Public Transport Company. Using public transport in Brno is easy and convenient.
